Two weeks ago, #3525, pilot bus for the next batch of buses, arrived on SEPTA property. An total 220 buses with an option of 120 more has been ordered.
The major changes are as follows:
- New GFI Genfare fastfare farebox
- Holes in the rear for improve ventilation; roofline changes
- Cummins ISB engine as opposed to the Cummins ISL engine for increased fuel effiency
- Propulsion system has been switched from an Allison to an BAE propulsion Systems.
