New Flyer Overhaul Status
The 2001-02 overhauls has received an Engine overhaul, electrical upgrade, body work and cosmetic work. These buses also received led door lights as found on the 2004 and D40LFs. Also these units were retrofitted with a back wheel kneeling device as well.
Meanwhile, the 2003-04 New Flyer D40LF’ overhauls were retrofitted with the Cummins ISL engine. These buses will retained their same transmission that have before the retrofit.
