It’s been a while since we posted an news article. There are several things which we wish to update you on:
SEPTA is now having an all-day push pull train in service. That’s right; there is now an all-day push pull
Started on March 18 th, the set will be out from roughly 7:30am to 1:40am covering several lines.
All trips are local except for 4571 which is the AKA the Second Great Valley Flyer which operates during the 6PM hour from 30th street station to Thorndale
The train will be operating the following trips:
9506 Malvern to Center City
9331 Center City to Elwyn
3234 Elwyn to Norristown
2333 Norristown to Elwyn
3420 Elwyn to Warminster
4571 Warminster to Thorndale
592 Thorndale to Doylestown
591 Doylestown to Malvern
Proterra electric buses are finally seeing revenue service : That’s right, after two years since being deliveried, SEPTA is finally slowly deploying their fleet of Proterra electric buses. SEPTA has purchased 25 all-electric buses to operate on routes 29 and 79 in South Philadelphia. Thus far, it seems that the Proterras are being deployed on weekends only on the route 79
Website update? That’s right in the hopefully not too distant future, the website is going to be overhualed. Please stay tune for some excellent changes
